Where is there visitor parking for the library?

If you are here today and need parking for the library you have several choices:

Hourly Parking (limit 2 hours): You can park in the diagonal visitor parking close to the building in Lot 12 (From Main Street/Hwy 12, turn north (toward campus) on Prairie Street. Turn into the first parking lot, Lot 12.). 

Hourly rates:

1 hour          $1.65
2 hours $3.05
 
  1. Download and pay for hourly parking via the Passport app.
  2. If you do not want to download an app or do not have a smartphone, hourly parking permits available through UW-W's parking permit kiosk located in the service drive behind the Visitor Center on 826 W. Starin Rd.

Daily Parking: $5.00. You can park in any unlabelled spot in Lot 12. Visitor parking permits are required to park on campus beginning at 11 pm Sunday until 5 pm Friday. Daily permits do not allow overnight parking.

  • If you do not want to download an app or do not have a smartphone, daily visitor permits are available to purchase at the kiosk behind the Visitor Center on 826 W. Starin Rd. Parking Services office.

Free Parking: There is free parking south of Main Street. At the Whiton Street stoplight across from the Alumni Center on Main Street, go south, or away from campus. After one block you will see an park with free parking on the streets surrounding the park.

If you are planning your visit ahead of time, you may get more information and purchase parking passes on the Parking Services website. Print-ahead permits can be purchased online at uww.aimsparking.com.
